Overview

Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions is a nonprofit venue that exhibits and advocates for innovations in art-making and public engagement. They nurture various emerging art forms such as performance art, video art, digital art, and installation.

Logo

Made up of modular letterforms, the logo can be used interchangeably. These letterforms can be stacked on top of one another, connected, or shifted. It reflects the ever-changing nature of art, connections made through it, and how it can be buildinig blocks of history.

Emerging Curator Program

From 2016, LACE has been partnering with emerging curators to help develop projects. LACE provides space, project consultation, presentation assistance, budgeting guidance, and marketing and promotion.

Using the logo as a grid, these series of posters showcase three past exhibitions from the Emerging Curator Program.
